ARTISTIC EYE- 'a photographic exhibition of Hood and Family'

The essence of this project is young people and photography- utilizing artistic reflections in developing a sense of creative expression and self-understanding.

Artistic Eye is a photographic workshop run by Jess Cross and brilliant South African photographer Moeketsi Moticoe.

Dusty Fingers Exhibition

'Dusty Fingers' is an exhibition of vinyl covers re-printed through a rare process of printmaking known as Xerox Transfer. The work will be sold on a bidding system. Bidding starts at R 500.

The sale of these works supports the 'artistic eye project'- a photographic workshop for young people in Khayelitcha and Mitchells Plain-brought to you by SoulCity Movement.

Mzansi Citizens of Soul is a multi media art exhibition sharing visions of contemporary South African culture, identity and community from the youthful perspectives of one American [Jessica Cross] and two South African artists [Moeketsi Moticoe and Max Mogale] using photography, Xerox Transfer printmaking, raw artistic documentary film, poetry and writing as the foundation for communicating a message of social awareness and cross-cultural understanding.
